I feel privileged having heard ASvO in concert and recital many times. I have heard her do German Lieder, French Melodies, Scandinavian songs, etc. Moreover, she speaks the languages she sings in which is critical for interpretation of this repertoire. Everything is done w seriousness and purpose by her while being utterly natural and not willful. She is perhaps the greatest singer over the last 30 years.
Absolutely correct! I once counted having heard her sing in at least 13 languages, and every single word is completely clear and audible. One of the greatest singers ever!
